Terms of Service
These terms govern your engagement with AfricaSol’s solar engineering services and your use of our website.
Last updated : June 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, engaging our engineering consultancy, or commissioning a solar project, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service — a legally binding agreement between you ("the Client") and AfricaSol ("the Provider").
If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.
2. Services Description
AfricaSol provides solar engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and operations services. The specific scope of any engagement is defined in a separate proposal, project charter or service agreement, and may include:
- Feasibility studies and energy audits
- Photovoltaic system design and technical modelling
- Installation, grid integration and long-term operations & maintenance
3. Client Obligations
The Client must provide the documentation, site access and technical information needed to deliver the project. Inaccurate or incomplete site data may result in delays or additional costs for which AfricaSol is not liable.
4. Payment & Billing
Fees and payment milestones are set out in each engagement’s agreement. Unless otherwise stated, invoices are due within 30 days. AfricaSol may suspend services on materially overdue accounts after reasonable notice.
5. Warranties & Limitations
AfricaSol warrants that engineering services are performed with professional skill and care. Equipment warranties (panels, inverters, batteries) are provided directly by their manufacturers, which AfricaSol facilitates but does not itself underwrite.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AfricaSol is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays arising from events beyond our reasonable control.
6. Intellectual Property
Design methodologies, technical drawings and proprietary tools developed by AfricaSol remain our intellectual property. The Client receives a non-exclusive licence to use project deliverables for operating the commissioned system.
7. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to treat non-public technical, financial and business information as confidential, and not to disclose it except as required to deliver the project or by law.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement with written notice as set out in the relevant agreement. On termination, the Client remains liable for work performed and costs committed up to the termination date.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, the location of our headquarters, without prejudice to mandatory local regulations in the jurisdiction where a project is installed.
